May 2017 - Meizhan Zheng Yancha (正岩) - Wulong from Wuyishan Scenic Reserve, Fujian
A versatile cultivar originating from Anxi, Fujian that can be processed into green, white, red, and wulong tea. This particular tea was harvested from within the Wuyishan Scenic Reserve to produce a roasted, strip wulong.
Floral, magnolia aroma on the empty cup and lid. Thick, silky mouth feel with notes of candied jujube (chinese red dates) and clean mineral finish.
Brewing: 1g/20mL @ 100C
